Tigers Eye

Golden yellow and opaque, this quartz with a Mohs’ hardness of 7 is formed through pseudomorphism of crocidolite in quartz while maintaining its fibrous structure. Tigers Eye is found in: South Africa, Western Austalia, Burma, India, and the USA.
