Stabilized Sleeping Beauty is natural turquoise that has been treated with injection of clear resin. As a result of this process, its color deepens and becomes stabilized for life (as oppose to natural Turquoise, which changes color over time). The median stablized turquoise color is generally darker than it's natural counterpart.
